Belief: Demystifying the Tarot #BlogchatterA2Z

Belief is the one important thing you need to have when you decide to have a Tarot Card Reading. It is the belief in this science or any other, that will help make your Tarot Reading work even better for you.

When you decide to get a Tarot Reading done, it is always wise to leave all your skeptical thoughts and ideas aside and have your Reading with an open and receptive mind. Believe the Reading to be your guide if you’re confused. Believe that it will help unravel the mysteries of your mind. Believe that it will work for you and with you, and you will see the results.

You should not have a Reading if you don’t believe ‘in all these things’.

Most people decide to have a Tarot Card Reading done when they feel they may have misplaced the belief they have in themselves or are no longer confident of their decision-making capabilities. The Tarot helps restructure that belief.

Over the years many Clients have come for a Reading armed with questions, ideas, and conflicting thoughts, openly admitting that they are ‘challenging’ me, and the Tarot. All views should be respected. However, most have stayed on to become regular Tarot clients, and in the process, believers.

Hi, I am Mayuri, a Tarot Card Reader by Profession and a Writer by design. Since I am already aware of what the future holds, I enjoy unwrapping the present. Follow me on my Instagram handle @CardTalkWithMayuri to know more about the Tarot and all things related.

This post is part of the #BlogchatterA2Z challenge hosted by Blogchatter, and my theme is Demystifying the Tarot.

  1. Good that you dealt with this topic. I actually expected there would be folk like that – coming in with challenges demanding specific answers and all.

    1. Hahahaha! I could write a book on my experiences!

  2. Dr.Amrita Basu

It’s a good idea to have an open mind while trying anything new.Very nicely explained.

  3. I used to do tarot card reading myself only for myself but then I found that I didn’t have true belief – in other words, I don’t think I could connect with a deeper insight. But I do believe that if you are a good tarot card reader you can give perfect advice and guidance. I have a friend who I often consult but even she finds that from time to time, her powers kind of diminish. Can this happen?

    1. So interesting to know this facet of your personality, Unishta. I am not sure if her powers diminish or if it’s her energies that get really low. The latter happens a lot to me too. That’s when we need to step back and recharge.

  4. Though I am not a believer yet, but the way I have started looking forward to your posts , I am sure will end up becoming one soon.

    1. That is such a sweet thing to say, Navita. Thank you for reading.

  5. I have always been a believer of tarot but only did the free generalised readings on net. I am so glad I connected with you, Mayuri. Now I truly believe in the Tarot readings. It’s not about knowing what the future hold for me but more about how to make the best of the present. Your tarot readings also helped me get a perspective on that aspect of life.

    1. Thank you for your belief and your beautiful words, Aesha, I am so touched.

  6. I would like to believe. Help my scepticism. It’s not a challenge but a request.

    1. Do keep reading my posts, to learn to believe 🙂

  7. I agree having a feeling of faith and believe is must before getting enter into any kind of spiritual or philosophical activity. tarot card reading is one of them, it works only when we truly believe in it.

    1. You are so right, Surbhi.

  8. Harshita Nanda

I think I was very sceptical about Tarot in beginning, but following you has made me question my scepticism. I think I am now moving over the to believer side

    1. Glad to hear that, Harshita.

  9. Completely agree, it’s like as we say with your doctor or lawyer, belief is the main thing.
I do believe in the power of tarot readings, as I had seen one of my neighbors, who study it deeply and has given a correct reading for me.

    1. That is so true, Pragun.

  10. I had a client who was a Tarot Card reader and frankly I didn’t understand it initially. I even told her that if I don’t believe in it myself I might not be the right person to promote it. She was understanding enough and did explain about belief and how cards can be a guiding factor.

  11. Me too would love to believe. I haven’t really explored because i don’t really understand the process. Hoping to get little insight from your posts

I totally agree with you on this Mayuri. Belief is what makes us as a person

  13. There are many sceptics in this world who do not believe in any alternate science. or healing. Those who believe only should try it out or else you will have arguments back and forth and a trillion questions 🙂

  14. I second you on this and I do believe in them Mayuri, but whatever reading I got wasn’t true for me at all, I still tried to respect it but was left unimpressed but that’s not to say that i don’t value it.

  15. Absolutely agree with it. Belief is the first step towards the achievement of our goal. One should follow the route to which he/she believes truly rather than pretending of it. Even our prayers work only when we believe in God, the same logic works with everything we do to attain in life.

  16. I totally agree with you. Belief is the emotion that is the essence of reality. If you don’t believe then there’s no point anyone can convince you.

  17. I completely agree, all views should be respected, if you don’t believe it don’t go for a reading, I guess.

  18. That’s very true ..until you believe in it even a medicine does not work

  19. While visiting a Doctor one goes with belief of getting cured. Then I fail to understand why people start with lack of belief when they reach to experts like Tarot card reader? Believing is half battle won, isn’t it?

  20. Never met a tarot card reader though I believe in everything which exits… Love to meet one, infact love to meet you and understand it better.

  21. I totally agree belief is the main thing. I got tarot reading only once and was not satisfied . Thanks for sharing this post .

  22. I totally agree with you on this aspect and I can just imagine the kind of experiences you might have gone through dealing with belief issues. Do share them and I think there might be plenty of hillarious ones as well.

  23. I can imagine! You should always have an open mind and be receptive of it. I’m glad you covered this topic, Mayuri.

  24. Belief definitely forms the basis. There is no point in taking a reading of you do not believe.

  25. This reminds me of my own experience with tarot card reading. Once in one office outing there was a free tarot card reading being done and many of us tried it out just for fun. The reader had asked me to ask if I have any question and I had said none. There was a surprise from everyone around that I had no questions in my mind. But the tarot reading which that reader had done for me that did turn out to be true eventually.

I have always been curious about this subject.. so for now reading on your posts..

  27. For sure we have to leave all the other thoughts when you truly need guidance.
