A very important aspect of a Tarot Card Reading Session is the shuffling of the Tarot Deck. By the Client, when they are asking their question and by the Tarot Card Reader, between each question (done to redistribute the energy of the Deck) Yes, that’s a whole lot of shuffling!
There are times when the Deck is being shuffled, and a Card, or sometimes more than one, jumps out from the Deck like literally jumps out. This Card / These Cards that fall out are known as Jumping Cards.
When a Jumping Card pops out, there are two options;
1)You could either interpret the meaning of this card and see if it is related to the state of mind of the client or answers the question asked by them while shuffling the Deck.
OR
2) Make a note of the Card, place it right back into the Deck and continue to shuffle. If the same card turns up in the Spread for the question asked, it is trying to give the Client a message.
Jumping Cards are messages that the Universe wants to convey. They appear very rarely, and if they happen too often then you have to put it down to poor shuffling!

Thank you for reading, Deepika.
Wow!! The concept behind Jumping cards is quite interesting. I am amazed by all the interpretations and messages Tarot cards can convey, and that too so accurately!!
Thank you, Navita.
This is magical, Mayuri. The Universe does work in fascinating ways.
It truly does, Leha.
Interesting! This is so much fun, Mayuri getting to know about Tarot reading each day through your posts. I always wondered why readers keep shuffling while the question is being asked.
Thank you, Aesha.
Interesting, the ways the universe wants to talk to you is really fascinating!
Truly. We just have to listen.
Does this mean that Tarot readings cannot be done online? Because this process sounds like you need to be face-to-face to understand the signals sent by the Cards.
I have been conducting Tarot CardReading Online for the past many years now, and thanks to the pandemic my Readings have only been Online for the past year. When a Jumping Card shows up during an Online Reading I show it to the client if it’s a video call or describe it to them if it is a voice call.I explain it, and it’s significance both ways.
Wow… so interesting to know that this phenomenon actually tries to give the client a hint. How wonderful is that! Jumping cards are such a fascinating term
